Meet artists from this year’s lineup.

Mad Seedling

Founder, Co-Organizer & Performing Artist

The dude with the dopest jams south of the St. Lawrence, aiming to entice your sensory organs with nostalgic notes, salacious samples, and dusty drums.

He started producing in 2018, experimenting with downtempo and dub on his first two LPs, before settling into the Lofi scene with a string of singles and EPs over the last several years.

He prefers the old school side of Lofi, focusing on a heavy use of samples, looping, and boom-bap beats, as opposed to the atmospheric and ambient ‘study beats’ vibe.

To date he’s racked up almost 2 million streams. He’s had music featured on Spotify’s Lofi Beats editorial playlist, and released music through several Lofi labels like Chill Beats, Chill Moon, and Chill Ghost.

His favourite beatmakers include Tajima Hal, invention_ and Khryo. His other musical interests include Jazz & Jazz Fusion, Downtempo, Dub, and Rock.

RT3 Beats

Co-Organizer & Performing Artist

Infusing the electric rhythms of lo-fi, boom-bap and instrumental hip-hop with the soulful echoes of jazz, RT3 Beats is an artist breaking boundaries and constructing sonic landscapes. Channeling inspiration from iconic influencers such as J Dilla, DJ Premier, Tribe Called Quest along with modern Lofi pioneers, RT3 Beats creates an immersive world of sound that invites listeners to lose themselves within its borders.

His upcoming performance at Canada Bumps, the country’s first lo-fi concert, promises to be a milestone moment, a testament to the growing influence and recognition of his craft. As a relatively new entrant to the music release scene, RT3 Beats has already begun to make waves with his emotive and distinctive sounds.

With currently over 20 million streams worldwide, he continues to solidify his presence in the global Lofi/Chillhop music scene, with a signature laid back lyrical style and boppy improvisation reminiscent of the late Clifford Brown and Chet Baker.

Hevi

Performing Artist

Hevi is a Turkish musician & producer in his 20s. Since 2018, he has been making relaxing music. His music usually involves nostalgic and nocturnal elements and his biggest inspirations are the night time and the blue hour.

Hevi’s music involves chill downtempo elements and drowns listeners into his unique realm of ambience, while comforting them. Envisioning each album like a different piece of art, he always gets inspired by a picture he sees or a note he hears.
